9th KOREA DAY AT MCC

 Korea Day


Today we had the 9th Korea Day at Madras Christian College, It was such a blessing to get a wonderful opportunity to learn the Korean language and its traditions with so much fun and excitement because we have great supportive and cheerful 선생님 (Teacher) and classmates, The day started with rehearsal and soundcheck of the choir and other dance practice.

Then we had pizza for lunch with everyone I felt that I was in a family get-together. Those lovely and joyful seniors treated us as their friends despite of age difference. And ceremony was switched on with random K-pop songs and dances which were followed by the arrival of the chief guest and the graduation of the Korean language class students. Then we had flashmob songs which consisted evolution of K-pop throughout the years pursued by the 'Arirang choir' and commemorative photos with everyone in the hall and then we came out to serve food for the guests. All these months we had so much fun while learning and we always treated each other as a family because we always think of them as a 'Korean class Family' Whenever we saw each other inside or outside campus we'd wear a warm simile on our face which holds up a lot of love and care for them. A leader who taught us all these good qualities and helped us to hold onto each other is our 선생님. He never treated us as his students but as his children. I'm so grateful to have such as wonderful family at MCC

Concert day

  We were confused till the last minute about whether to go to the concert or not as my sister told us that she wouldn't be coming to the concert in the afternoon and I was feeling uncomfortable about going all alone to the concert, At last, I gather up my courage and got ready, I thought to go there alone by my dad didn't let me as it will be late at night once I return from there so he accompanies me. We reached there by 6:15, my dad dropped me there and he went to a nearby church. When I got off the bike I had mixed emotions and I couldn't define them, I was scared, tensed, anxious and with little excitement as it was my first proper concert ( worship concert ). DO EVERYONE DESERVE KINDNESS ?

 Hey everyone, it's so delightful to see y'all once again through this blog, while I was thinking about some random stuff this evening, I came across this incident that happened last week. One evening while I was on my way to music class from college, a group of 3 Akka (sister) came in front of me and began to block my way out, although I was scared deep inside, I tried to keep up my tone with them. Then they introduced them as a fund collector for cancer patients so they insisted me to pay for one meal which would be around 500 bucks and I was there with 40 bucks in hand, I told them that I didn't have money to pay for the fund to which they insist me to give them what I have right there. I didn't want to be rude, so I took 20 bucks from my purse and tried to put it inside the donation box, To which that one Akka took it from my hand and went from there with a displeased expression on her face. which made me disappointed with their attitude and I started to make my way...
